The designers of Kepler understood this and already figured out that the odds of everything being lined up properly is only about 1 half of one percent (.5%). However, given the sheer quantity of stars that Kepler will be searching at, that still adds up to almost 500 Earth like planets. Barely a fault at all.
many thanks everyone for explaining the things to me. but i m extremely dissatisfied on understanding that only a little no. of planets cud be detected by kepler. but it okay, there is no other way. and MRay. i m sorry. the next time i ll keep the title in a more appropriate way. As soon as Kepler returns with outcomes, we can develop bigger area telescopes and interferometers which will be in a position to actually photograph these planets. As soon as the new gear has checked out Kepler's outcomes, we can point it at any star and see the planets there visually without needing any transits.
